When will we realise ?

When will we realise ? the image although drastic, does bring up some worrying concepts. The question likewise remains the same.  When will we realise ?  we need to change our lifestyles drastically. Without the planet maintaining its natural equilibrium we can't sustain our existing lifestyles. In the UK at least anyone doubting climate change or our negative impacts on nature should be concerned at our changing weather patterns. The catastrophic flooding of major sections of landscape, the risk of heat waves, farmers physically struggling to grow their 'traditional' crops due to changing weather. In the United States they are suffering from the worst droughts in 56 years. Widespread crops have either deteriorated or been destroyed.

Throughout the world humans seem to disrespect and take advantage of nature for profit. Whole ecosystems and endangered species are on the backfoot, often quietly deteriorating or even being wiped off the face of the planet. But occasionally mother nature does take a blow back. She knows how to really bring us down to our knees, floods, droughts and natural disasters. Who knows one day she'll likely issue the knockout blow.

Before i digress, heading back to the beginning i asked 'when will we realise ?'. Realise the connection between the abnormal extreme weather pattens we face, with what harm we put upon the world. Truly being able to make positive changes. Support sustainable food, become sustainable as families, more self supporting and eventually as countries. Supporting drastic recycling, cutting energy in both primary means by ways of reducing electricity and fuels used. And by Secondary means, buying/using less wasteful products, using reusable cups at coffee shops and fast food places, buying the less packaging option or by buying local.

Ultimately we all have to realise as soon as possible - remember WE CAN'T EAT MONEY.
